Alertbox & Internationalization Clue

Dear Jakob Nielsen:
Your latest little bit about internationalization basics on the Web is concise, well written, and well-explained. However, the advice therein offered is so stupendously basic that any company or webdesigner who is not aware of these issues today, in 2005, is hopelessly clue-resistant.
Unfortunately, from where I sit, empirical observation suggests that companies who do international business—and the webdesigners who work for them—were vaccinated against clue at birth, or perhaps were even born with congenital clue-antibodies. Even the famous Alertbox doesn’t stand a chance. Sorry.
